Expansion Unit Control Function |
While viewing the value displayed on the main unit's monitor, you can perform fine sensitivity adjustment for the expansion units.
When FS-T2 expansion units are connected to the FS-V1 main unit, the FS-V1's display can show received light intensity and can show the sensitivity of the expansion units. You can adjust the sensitivity of the expansion units in fine increments, while viewing the received light intensity of the expansion units on the FS-V1's display. |

 |
Digital Monitor |
The sensitivity or received light intensity is digitally displayed on the monitor for optical alignment and maintenance work.
Two display modes are available;excess gain display (percent) and received light intensity display (4 digits). The display allows you to easily find dirt or dust on the fibre unit tip or a misaligned optical axis. After performing one-touch calibration, you can adjust the sensitivity in fine increments while viewing the value displayed on the monitor. This adjustment allows for more accurate detection based on the line conditions/speed. |

Sensitivity Setting Procedure (Multiple Setting Modes) |
 |
|
 |
| Fully Automatic Calibration |
| Press the SET button to automatically detect the sensitivity difference between a target and a background. Calibration does not require production stoppage. |

| Positioning Calibration |
| This is effective when you want a signal indicating that a target has reached a specified position. Applications include fixed length cutting of hoop material or printing marks on parts. |

 |
| 2-point Calibration |
2-point calibration is used to make minute sensitivity adjustments that cannot be done with conventional automatic calibration. This calibration is easy to perform and can help you detect marginal defects on your product line.
In addition to models with a red light source, a green light source model, the FS-T1G, is available for more accurate colour detection. |

Industry’s First Dual-output Fibre Optic Sensor |
Dual outputs can be used for control based on the upper/lower limits or alarm output.
The FS-V1 is the first fibre optic sensor with dual independent outputs. A single FS-V1 does the sensing work of two sensors. This function can be used for a variety of applications such as control output based on the upper/lower limits or alarm output. |
