3 + 1 Processor System: Ultra-high-speed, parallel processing |
| CV-5000 Series models are driven by a high-speed colour image processing engine. The high-speed RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) CPU is supplemented by two DSPs (Digital Signal Processors) designed specifically for image processing. In all, CV-5000 series models use four processors to attain the fastest processing speed available in its class. The CPU and DSPs are the latest technology, achieving twice the speed of KEYENCE’s CV-3000 Series models. |

| The 7X high-speed 240,000-pixel colour camera captures a 240-line partial image. Defect inspection mode, edge pitch, edge width, and edge angle allow the CV-5000 to perform position compensation and colour intensity processing. |
The 7X high-speed 240,000-pixel colour camera captures full-screen images to carry out several product assessments. Defect inspection, difference processing (Pattern cancelling), colour intensity processing, 360° rotary position compensation, and edge position compensation provide the most comprehensive and accurate inspection of products available. |

[First in its class] Double Buffer |
The double buffer memory allows the CV-5000 Series to accept the next trigger input when an image is being processed. This enables an inspection tact time of about 5.2 ms (about 11,500 parts/minute)* even in non-interlaced reading mode.
(* When the CV-H035C is used and the image processing time is 4 ms) |
Partial Image Reading |
| The partial image reading function enables you to significantly reduce the image transfer time because it transfers only the necessary image data. |
