2D Shape / 3D Shape

The sensors introduced here measure a target's shape. This is done either by scanning over the target with a single-point optical sensor or using a laser line to generate a 2D profile of the surface. The recommended setup will vary depending on target condition and size. Contact your nearest sales office for details.

The shape of a target's cross section is instantly measured using a line laser. Sensors include a variety of measurement tools for detecting height, width, and cross sectional area. Inspection is performed after obtaining the 3D shape by incorporating the waveform data.
